Perfectly serene location but not so far from Marrakesh.
Since staying around one month ago I’ve told friends at length about how perfect this place is, but truly what made it outstanding were the staff. Mohammed (the orange man) made mine and my friends stay exceptional.
Viajando en pleno Agosto a 42grados en Marrakech y con una niña de 5 años, teníamos nuestras dudas sobre si el desierto de piedra de Agafay era un lugar simplemente creado para el turista, y aunque realmente lo es, es una experiencia que recomiendo a todo el mundo que busque una estancia especial y diferente a tan sólo una hora en coche de Marrakech. Tras valorar todos los alojamientos dr la zona, nos decidimos por el Alcamar Camp y os aseguro que superó nuestras expectativas! Vistas increíbles, desconexión total, la increíble piscina para relajarse y unas cabañas estupendas. La cena con la actuación bereber y el espectáculo de fuego acabaron de completar un día insuperable. No podemos agradecer más a nuestro acompañante Ashraf que trató a nuestra hija como a una princesa y eso para una familia con peques es totalmentr de agradecer. Sorprendentemente el aire que corría en el lugar hizo que estuviéramos genial desayunando en el "hoyo de alfombras", un rincón precioso de los muchos que tiene la propiedad. Definitivamente las fotos no le hacen justicia, ya que en vivo y en directo es mucho mejor! Ahhh y por si alguien tiene dudas sobre el calor, el aire avondicionado era más que suficente dentro de la cabaña a la peor hora del día y por la noche decidimos apagarlo. Así que recomiendo al 100% este alojamiento, como una experiencia única cuando se viaje a Marrakech!
Staying in Agagay desert in Morocco was one of the best and unique experience I’ve ever had. Camp Alkamar made my trip to Morocco even better. Alkamar provided amazing authentic rooms , excellent breakfast. I really loved the crew, Bader and Ryma were amazing hosts. Bader was Always very helpful and made our stay even brighter. Amazing work everyone at the camp. Wonderful and beautiful experience.
Este lugar es de ensueño, unas vistas espectaculares a las montañas del desierto. La piscina increíble y la habitación inmejorable. El personal no puede ser mejor, todos amables y atentos. Volveré sin duda
Great layout, looks exactly like every photo you will see. Food was tasty and fresh. Very friendly and courteous staff. Evening entertainment was great. Special mention to Bader who looked after us extremely well. We felt like something between VIPs and family. Quad bike experience was great and breakfast was one of the best we’ve had this holiday.

Le petit déjeuner et les différents repas étaient tout simplement fabuleux. Mohammed était présent du début à la fin pour que notre séjour soit parfait ! Nous avons été conquis par la balade en buggy de 2heures, paysages fabuleux et des sensations !

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. In particular, Bedar, who looked after us from beginning to end.
C’était notre deuxième séjour au camp Alkmaar. Une × deux plus nous avons passé un séjour extrêmement dépaysant et agréable. L’accueil est parfait avec une équipe topissime au premier des rangs ashraf, qui est un garçon d’une gentillesse et d’une prévenance incroyables à l’accueil, mais également Mohamed pour les sorties en Quad. Le repas le soir est très bon. Je recommande les boulettes. Un dîner spectacle sympathique en particulier le cracheur de feu. Les chambres sont impeccable.
Endroit idyllique, très calme, mais surtout avec un guide particulièrement attentionné qui s’appelle Bader ainsi que son binôme Mohammed. Grâce à eux, nous avons passé un séjour de rêve, entouré avec beaucoup d’affection, d’amitié et de bienveillance… nous reviendrons, spécialement dans cet endroit, fabuleux pour se ressourcer, se sentir hors du temps, et surtout retrouver nos amis, Bader et Mohammed,…. Je recommande cet endroit à 200 %.
La struttura e’ arredata bene, pulita , immersa in una tranquillità incredibile. Anche i servizi sono ottimi e Mohammed e’ stato veramente il nostro angelo esaurendo ogni nostra richiesta. Ottimo anche il cibo della cena .
Tout était exceptionnel ! Une Mention spéciale à Badr qui s’est chargé de rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Il a toujours répondu présent et a montré à quelle point l’hospitalité lui tenait à cœur.
Le paysage est à couper le souffle, les chambres fabuleuses vraiment il n y’a a dire !
Sehr schöne Unterkunft in der Wüste. Zwar blickt man auf andere Camps, die sind aber recht weit entfernt.
Die Unterkunft an sich ist stilvoll, sehr sauber, ruhig und weitläufig.
Insbesondere der Service von unserem Kellner Bader hat uns sehr gefreut. Er hat sich sehr bemüht und jeden unserer Wünsche direkt umgesetzt.
Tutto perfetto. Un’oasi nel deserto. Consigliamo assolutamente di dormire lì una notte anche se il prezzo è un po’ alto ma ne vale la pena per l’esperienza, per la qualità della struttura e per il risveglio pazzesco. Colazione e cena tipiche buonissime. Vi lasciano la possibilità di trascorrere la giornata in piscina anche prima del check-in, FATELO!
Lo staff gentilissimo, soprattutto ringraziamo BADER sempre disponibile e sorridente.
Le tende sono pulitissime e pazzesche dotate di aria condizionata, macchinetta del caffè Nespresso ed asciugacapelli.

Das Camp besteht aus Rezeption, Nebengebäuden für die Quads etc., Restaurant, Frühstücksbereich, Pool mit Bar und den sieben Hütten, die etwas tiefer liegen. Der Stil mit vielen Sitzkissen (am Boden), Bast, viel Holz, Lampen aus Stroh erinnert ein wenig an den Boho-Stil. Abends gibt es gemütliche Feuerschalen nach dem Abendessen, das mit lokaler Begleitmusik stattfindet. Auch in der Hütte kann man ein offenes Feuer bekommen, wenn gewünscht. Pool schön gross, leider noch etwas kalt, da auch der Wind in der Wüste recht kräftig blies.

What a special place! It was wonderful and the staff made it so welcoming. Extra thanks to Mohammad ‘Orange Man’ as he calls himself. What an absolute gem he was, he was so attentive and kind to us. We had a great time at the dinner too, the food was incredible and we had live music, crackling fires and such amazing surroundings too!
The camp was gorgeous, with as many private nooks for relaxing as there are more open, social areas for gathering. There is a real sense of this being a very special addition to the area. We particularly loved the decor inside the 'tents', which felt very authentic. Dinner in their restaurant was very delicious (the best couscous we've ever had!) is accompanied by musicians who engage the guests. Breakfast in the open dining area was equally special. I just wish we had more than 1 day here to really enjoy the camp, and perhaps come at a warmer time of year (we visited in mid March) so we could have enjoyed the pool.

Mon séjour à l'Alkamar Camp Agafay a été globalement très positif. Le personnel est extrêmement attentionné et l'endroit est tout simplement magnifique, offrant une vue imprenable sur le désert. La présence d'un petit chien adorable ajoute une touche de convivialité. Les chambres sont belles et dépaysantes, chacune offrant une vue spectaculaire qui invite à la contemplation. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, agrémenté de musique live, ce qui a rendu les matins particulièrement agréables.
Atmospheric desert camp in the heart of the Agafay Desert and overlooking a specatcular pool that reflects the majesty of the Atlas Mountains. We were well looked after throughout by Mumu who attended to our every need. The two restaurants (lunch and dinner) are beautifully situated and the food was honestly faultless (recommend the tagine and beef with prunes). A live traditional band accompanies you at dinner each night and adds to the tapestry of magic. Breakfast was gorgeous (eggs, home made bread, fruit, Moroccan pastries, great coffee). There are only 5 lodges which are simply stunning with massive comfy beds and a cosy bedside fire at night. The skies at night with a full moon, the rising sun between the mountains in the morning, the sound of silence and the playful camp dogs made this an experience we will never forget.

Camp tres agréable et personnel très sympathique. L’activité quad seules avec le guide était très appréciable.
Excellent accueil : chaleureux et amical, on a vraiment pris soin de nous à chaque moment ! On s'est senti comme chez nous, bien accueillis et choyés par l'équipe sur place. Petit déjeuner délicieux, superbes vues sur Aragafay, les espaces sont hyper spacieux, tout est très beau et (encore) assez neuf. L'eau de la piscine était trop froide pour se baigner mais c'était agréable de profiter du soleil sur les transats malgré tout. L'expérience est reposante et très agréable pour déconnecter de Marrakech qui peut être assez intense.

Voglio ringraziare tantissimo Mohamed anche detto ‘l’uomo in arancione’ che é letteralmente stato sempre con me per esaudire ogni mio desiderio, ho apprezzato tantissimo la sorpresa di compleanno che mi ha fatto, davvero non me lo aspettavo, é una persona straordinaria, é stato un vero piacere conoscerlo.
Poi voglio ringraziare Zaccaria che é stato il mio autista sul quad e mi ha fatto vedere dei panorami da restare senza parole inoltre aggiungerei, é anche un ottimo fotografo e infine tutto lo staff per la loro cordialità disponibilità e per l’ottimo cibo che dire grazie per aver reso il mio compleanno indimenticabile.
Nous avons séjourné pendant une nuit. L'accueil était au top. Merci à momo d'avoir été notre guide durant le séjour. Très bel environnement, propre. Les paysages sont magnifiques. Le dîner était très bon, copieux et avec de l'animation. Rien à redire. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés
I loved the place, the facilities and the staff, specially Mohammed (the Orange Man)... he is absolutely great and the best host! We had a fireplace in the bedroom that was incredibly romantic and cute.
We did a buggy adventure and it was great, the person of the staff who did it with us was super kind and nice (sorry I cannot remember his name)

Il camp è molto bello e suggestivo e il personale è super carino e gentile. Il tramonto vista piscina e l'alba vista camera rendono il soggiorno magico. Il silenzio e la pace che trovi lì sono una vera e propria coccola per fuggire dal caos di Marrakech.

MAGNIFIQUE ! Un véritable havre de paix dans le désert d’Agafay. La chambre dispose d’une vue à couper le souffle. Le petit déjeuner et le repas sont copieux et délicieux. Le personnel est au petit soin pour vous. L’espace avec la piscine et les différents endroits pour se reposer sont magnifique.
Il nostro soggiorno ad Alkamar Camp è stato bellissimo. Tutto era perfetto. La camera è arredata con molto gusto e nelle notti d'inverno il camino acceso è sempre graditissimo. Bellissima la passeggiata in cammello al tramonto. La cena era buonissima e divertente, animata da musica dal vivo molto coinvolgente. Lo staff super gentile, grazie soprattutto a Mohamed Orange Man per tutto. Torneremo sicuramente!
Everything! We really hadn’t expected a personal concierge to anticipate and attend to our every need to make our stay as special as possible but Mohammad was a class act.
It was a magical stay, our room was the top and clean. There was free Nespresso coffee and water in de room. The workers were very nice, very friendly en very helpfull with everthing. Especially Mohammed (The Orange Desert Man) was the top in everything, we felt home because of him and he made our stay very special in the desert.
We had Mo as our dedicated man of hour for the duration of the stay and he is hands down the most friendliest and kind person (and Luna and Shams). Our check-in process was simple with everything explained to us clearly. The room was absolutely stunning with beautiful views. The entertainment every evening was just brilliant! The food was delicious too for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. The activities on offer is just enough for a two night stay. Definitely highly recommend staying here.
Camp is located in absolutely stunning location with spectacular Atlas mountains view. Staff is super friendly and wants to make your time unforgattable, especially Brahim was helpful and took care of us during whole stay. Dinner was delicious with live music and breakfast really diverse.

El sitio es una maravilla, personal super amable y simpáticos, están pendientes de ti todo el tiempo. Las cabañas muy cómodas, con todo lo necesario, tienen chimenea que te encienden por la noche.
Desayuno muy variado con dulce y salado.
Puedes comer y cenar allí, la cocina es típica marroquí de muy buena calidad.
Un glamping nel deserto di agafay dove trovi pace, silenzio senza accorgersi del tempo che passa, ottimo per ricaricarsi dai momenti frenetici delle città. Lo staff è davvero super, in particolar modo Mohammed un ragazzo giovane pieno di vita e sempre sorridente pronto a soddisfare ogni tua esigenza. Colazione e menù del ristorante davvero eccellenti soprattutto la tajine di manzo con prugne e albicocche da leccarsi i baffi, per non parlare della piccola pasticceria marocchina, davvero squisiti.
Il nostro soggiorno in questo incantevole struttura nel deserto del Marocco è stato un vero sogno. Immerso in un paesaggio mozzafiato, la struttura offre un’ospitalità senza pari e un’esperienza autentica e lussuosa allo stesso tempo.
Le camere, eleganti e spaziose, sono arredate con gusto, mescolando tradizione marocchina e comfort moderni.
Il ristorante del resort è una vera perla. Ogni piatto è una celebrazione della cucina marocchina, con ingredienti freschissimi. La cena sotto il cielo stellato del deserto è un’esperienza unica, dove la magia del luogo si fonde con i sapori intensi della tradizione locale.
Le attività offerte dal resort sono altrettanto straordinarie: dalle passeggiate in cammello, alle uscite in quad, fino alla possibilità di visitare i villaggi berberi nei dintorni, ogni esperienza è un’immersione totale nella cultura e nella bellezza naturale del Marocco. Non mancano momenti di puro relax, con piscine panoramiche e falò sotto le stelle del deserto.

Prachtig gelegen in de agafay woestijn op 45 min rijden van Marrakesh vind je Alkamar camp. Het spectaculaire uitzicht op de hoge atlas is adembenemend. Bovendien geniet je hier van complete rust nadat je, naar verwachting, toch best wel een beetje moe kunt zijn van het leven in de medina. Tenminste, dat hadden wij. Het eten is prima, en variëren ze als je langer dan één dag blijft.
Wat voorop stond was de service die wij ontvingen van onze host Yasin. Yasin was er de hele dag mee bezig om ervoor te zorgen dat we van alle wensen werden voorzien en dat we een uniek verblijf kregen in hun Kamp. Bedankt Yasin en team voor een heerlijk verblijf.

Quelle belle expérience dans le désert d Agafay avec tout le confort possible en plein désert. Chambre spacieux très bien équipée avec une vue imprenable. Le personnel est serviable et nous a partagé la culture et tradition des berbères. Calme et reposant très belle expérience, tout était somptueux. Et la piscine est un vrai plus !

O ALKAMAR camp só tem 5 tendas de forma a pernoitar no deserto de Agafay. Localizadas numa zona mais tranquila. A tenda é bastante confortável, com todas as comodidades necessárias. Quanto ao pequeno-almoço bastante completo (ovos, bolo, fruta, crepe típico marroquino, sumo de laranja e café). O que realmente surpreendeu foi a vista da piscina, é muito bonita. É possível fazer também algumas atividades com o hotel, como passeios de camelo, moto 4.
É possível almoçar ou jantar, bastantes opções de pratos tradicionais, com entrada, água, prato principal e sobremesa incluídos.

How to begin. This place is so unique and accommodating. It’s like walking into a dream. From the moment you step foot on site, you are taken care of. This hospitality is some the best I have ever experienced.
The food is amazing, the cocktails are so refreshing.
The scenery is just breathtaking. We were fortunate to stay in one of the lodges and it is even better than the photos. Waking up in a gorgeous bed and looking out into the Agafey Desert is out of my dreams.
I want to specially thank Momo for really taking care of us and even providing us with some amazing photos and videos of our camel ride.
The pool is so refreshing and the views are, again, amazing!
